Studio Auroviral (Brainclaw’s in-house recording facility) is completely back up and running at 100%, after having been rebuilt around a brand-new, dual processor Powermac G5 running Digital Performer 4.12.

Digital audio is now being handled by a Mark Of The Unicorn 828 Mark II 96 kHz 24 bit Firewire audio interface. Other minor renovations include Sonex sound treatment in the Control/Composition areas, and a custom audio desk built around the new configuration.

All is proceeding apace for the mid-April release of the massive BLC Productions release of Interbreeding III: Xenophobic. Brainclaw’s brand-new Ovipositor remix of Insekt/Angel which will be available EXCLUSIVELY on this compilation, will be positioned on Disc 2, song #7.

BLC have proven to be extremely professional and enthusiastic toward the electronic music scene. Brainclaw’s position on the BLC Productions presentation of Interbreeding III: Xenophobic has been revealed. The CD compilation is a massive, 2-disc set with many awesome artists and intense artwork by Wilhelm Steiner. BLC reports that there will be expanded artist biographies available soon on their NEWS page. Electro-industrial band CEOXIME has completed and submitted a truly evil and wonderfully demented re-mix of Insekt/Angel, called Insekt/Angel - Halo in the Hive remix.

Brainclaw has been contracted to score a most excellent independent film version of The Monkey’s Paw.

It is being produced by Skyline Pictures. Skyline are planning for an April Release, after hitting the Moondance Film Festival in Colorado.

About half of the music cues and sound effects are completed, and Brainclaw are working feverishly to complete the project by its March 10 deadline, by providing scary electro and more conventional music to give the completed film some serious atmosphere.

The new Brainclaw CD is finished, and in Brainclaw’s hands. 1000 copies of the brand-new full-length CD, Insekt/Angel, have arrived and are being sent out to many magazines, websites, radio programs and several interested Labels.
