The new Brainclaw song Deadlife was selected to appear on the new Dracula’s Ball CD sampler. They are kept company on this excellent compilation by many great artists, such as the Cruxshadows and Bow Ever Down.
This CD has been mass-produced and has been distributed free to every attendee of the latest Dracula’s Ball event hosted by none other than Philadelphia’s own Patrick Rodgers. The Ball is, without a doubt THE premiere gothic/industrial event in the country, if not the world. National Geographic was rumored to have been filming segments at this latest Drac’s Ball for a show examining the vampire subculture. 1000 or so CDs were also distributed at the most recent Convergence Gothic Music Festival in early May.
Thousands of new people will be exposed to the Brainclaw virus from Deadlife’s appearance this giveaway CD. Brainclaw wish to extend a special Thank-You to Patrick Rodgers for this fantastic opportunity to reach thousands of potential new fans.

Last week, Brainclaw wrote to DEVO, one of their major influences and one of the most innovative, intelligent and aware bands of all time. The following morning, Brainclaw received a wonderful reply from none other than Devo mastermind Jerry Casale! Brainclaw, at Jerry’s request, shipped to Devo Headquarters four complimentary copies of Insekt/Angel for their listening enjoyment. Devo promptly posted Brainclaw’s entire letter to them on the Club Devo Website as well as a link to the Brainclaw site. You can read Brainclaw’s entire letter to Devo HERE. Many thanks to Jerry, Mark and the rest of Devo for their kindness and professionalism towards Brainclaw, as well as for a lifetime of excellent, thought-provoking music. If you’re a Brainclaw fan, and you don’t know about Devo, you’d better find out! Duty now for the future!

David and Tara officially joined forces this weekend, with an intimate and lovely wedding at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Morrisville, PA.
They then retired to Cafe Antonio with their families for a delicious late lunch of stellar Italian fare. Since things are so busy with Brainclaw right now, they are waiting to take a honeymoon until later in the year.
We send them best wishes and wish them good luck!
