Brainclaw was honored to meet many of Horror’s greatest actors, authors and creators this past weekend at the infamous HORRORFIND convention in Baltimore Maryland. Pictured here is makeup/effects maestro and actor Tom Savini, a fellow Pennsylvanian. He was a fantastic fellow to hang out with, and took home a copy of Insekt/Angel to listen to in his car on the way home!

Below is Reanimator actor Jeffrey Coombs, pictured with David of Brainclaw and graphic artist Kim Holler. Jeffrey was a kind and fascinating man, and took plenty of time to chat and relate stories from his acting career. A true gentlemasn and a scholar.

Below is Rochelle Heagh Phister, a lovely, spiritual and talented artist and all-around nice person. Brainclaw purchased a painting of hers called “Blood.” It is hanging over the predatory fishtank on the living level of Studio Auroviral. Her artwork usually involves something macabre, lovingly rendered and framed and execited with unusual techiques and media. Check out her work!

Below is horror author Edward Holsclaw, who’s name fits in nicely with Brainclaw! He signed his latest two books for David and Tara, one of which is perfect, being about mutated Insekts that spread a virulent plague across the country, called ORIGIN: UNKNOWN. Of course, he went home with a Brainclaw CD, and a promise of further contact in the future. He was a wonderful man, and a true pleasure to meet and spend time with. Head over to www.fearmaker.com to purchase his excellent books!

Needless to say, Brainclaw was thrilled with the weekend. Many promo CDs were handed out, most effectively to several large horror/scifi movie companies, like Anchor Bay and Lion’s Gate. The one fellow at Anchor Bay had heard Brainclaw’s work on the Matrix DVDs, and seemed very excited to get a copy of Insekt/Angel. All in all, it was a wild and fun weekend that was shared with good friends Kim Holler and Brad Thompson. Already looking forward to next year!

The brand-new Hydroshok Remix of the song Strike (the original version soon to appear as the opening song on the Brainclaw new CD “Dead Monsters“) was selected to appear on the newest Interbreeding VII compilation CD set. Many thanks to Brandon Clark and everyone at
