Brainclaw hanging with Thomas Dolby!

Thursday, December 28th, 2006

Brainclaw and Thomas DolbyDavid of Brainclaw can probably die happy now…

…once he gets that fanboy grin off his face, that is…

David and Tara were lucky enough to get backstage at the Philadelphia show of Electro pioneer Thomas Dolby last week!

Thomas proved to be a gentleman and a scholar, as the trio discussed music, future technology, animal rescues and life on the road. Thomas had just played a fantastic show, encompassing many hits from all of his various releases, including improved and live-created versions of classics like “Airwaves” and “She Blinded Me With Science.”

Ever the thoughtful one, Tara made up a gift of throat spray and healing herbal tea for Thomas, who had a bad cold a few shows before Philadelphia. He was given Brainclaw CD’s, and even signed David’s limited edition vinyl EP of “May The Cube Be With You.” David prompty wet his pants.
There was even talk of a Thomas Dolby remix of a Brainclaw song some time in the future!

Please check out Thomas Dolby’s website and music HERE.

Many thanks to Holly of Jim Balent Studios (who is also a total hottie) for getting Brainclaw backstage and for snapping the pictures!
