Just for fun, Davidclaw has opened a Twitter.com account.

It’s a fun little social networking utility that lets users give brief and instant updates to their friends and fans, referred to as “followers.” Your posts are restricted to 140 characters per post, an interesting parameter to work within!

Davidclaw is Brainclaw_David on Twitter, so feel free to head over there and “follow” what’s going on in the Brainclaw world.

We will be releasing little tidbits of info on many Brainclaw and non-Brainclaw projects as time allows.

There will be many different audio and video projects coming to fruition in the new year, so hop on Twitter and be the first to find out, Clawlings!

We discovered some really fun things on YouTube.com over the weekend. It seems Brainclaw is not immune from the growing craze of homemade AMV, or Anime Music Videos.

Several people have taken the Brainclaw cover of “Mad World” (originally written and performed by Tears For Fears) and created cool AMVs using anime snippets from Elfen Lied and Naruto, among others.

Being big anime fans ourselves, we were psyched to see that the Brainclaw Virus has begun to penetrate the anime culture as well. This is an extremely interesting creative amalgamation that is ripe with possibility and we wholly endorse it! There has been some controversy over copyright issues when AMVs of some ‘big music groups’ get distributed on the web, but we see it as a cool way to gain even more exposure for The ‘Claw.

Feel free to hop on over to YouTube.com and check out the newest Brainclaw AMVs. There has always been talk here in the BC Enclave of producing a Brainclaw video using animation, and these AMVs have rejuvinated our interest in making one happen. We’re currently talking with two different animators regarding creation of animated music videos for songs from the Dead Monsters CD, so stay tuned for more details…

Big thanks go out to the crazy, creative people involved in this new type of guerrilla animation creation.

New Brainclaw CD Dead Monsters just joined 2004 album Insekt/Angel on iTunes for availability. The full albums can be downoaded for just $9.99 each, or you can at last buy the songs individually, for only 99 cents per song.

Just go here, download and install the iTunes software, go to the iTunes Music Store in the program, and do a search for ‘Brainclaw’ in the search box, upper right corner. It’s as simple as that!
